When the arrival of COVID-19 forced people across the globe into lockdown, like many organisations, we were forced to cancel our events. To keep our global alumni community connected, we launched Alumni at Home, an online events series inviting alumni to connect at the same time as trying out a new hobby.

Sarah Chen (Law, 2011) is Co-Founder of Beyond The Billion (The Billion Dollar Fund for Women), a global consortium of over 100 venture funds and limited partner investors that are actively deploying beyond $1 billion towards women-founded companies. Sarah shares some words of wisdom and memories from her time at King’s.
